This guide will walk you through the entire process of placing your order including our core exchange policy, removing your OEM trim, shipping, and final installation. Additionally, we have a FAQ available to answer some common questions.

Core Exchange Policy
Each carbon fiber interior set produced by oCarbon utilizes OEM interior trim to ensure a perfect fit and finish. In order to use OEM parts, we require that you provide us with your car's current set of trim so that we may wrap it in carbon fiber for either your car, or a future customer. You have two options for making the trim exchange:
- Send us your trim first, and a carbon fiber set will be delivered to you once complete based on the set you provide, or;
- Provide a deposit in lieu of your trim, and send us back your OEM trim once the finished set has arrived to you for a return of your deposit. The deposit amount varies depending on your model, please email us for more details.
Removing Your Trim
Use the trim removal guides below to uninstall your OEM interior trim. We recommend you read the guides thoroughly before you start. Take your time and be gentle removing your trim pieces, so you don't break, scratch, bend, or damage any of the pieces. If you have any issues during the removal, send us an email or give us a call and we'll do our best to guide you through it.

Packing Your Trim
After your trim has been removed, prepare it for shipping. To protect the trim during shipment, wrap your trim pieces up in either newspaper or bubble wrap. PLEASE DO NOT USE PACKING PEANUTS. This is very important as packing peanuts make a huge mess and the shop needs to stay clean to avoid damaging the curing resin or contaminating parts.
Once your trim is wrapped and boxed up, please ship it to the following address via a major insured carrier (UPS, FedEx, or USPS).

If you are returning your core from a non-US based location, please ship through the post office (USPS). Shipping through FedEx or UPS will incur import taxes, which will be deducted from your core deposit.
Placing Your Order
After you have decided whether to send us your trim prior to manufacturing or making a deposit you are ready to place to your order. The next step is to fill out our order form, supplying the necessary information in each field.
If you would like your order customized, such as a different weave or fiber color, you may also select this from the Fiber Type dropdown. If you're looking for an even more customized order then complete our custom quote form and let us know what you're interested in by using comments box.
After you've made your choices and agreed to our terms, including understanding that your order may take 2-3 weeks to manufacture, you can proceed to the secure checkout by pressing the Buy Now button.
After completing the order form and pressing Buy Now button you will be sent to Paypal to enter your billing information. From the checkout page you will be able to securely make payment one of two ways:
- If you have a Paypal account: log in and pay via your Paypal account, or;
- If you don't have a Paypal account you can pay normally using just your Credit or Debit card.
When you have completed your order you should be sent back to the oCarbon website and you should receive your Invoice Number. You can use this number, along with your email address and zip code, to login to our order tracker to track the progress of your trim set. This invoice number will also be included in the payment receipt email from Paypal.
After we receive your trim and payment, we'll send you an email confirming everything is ready to go. It usually takes 2-3 weeks from the date the trim is received until your carbon fiber set is done and ready to ship.
Depending on the complexity of the order, current workload, and other factors, this time estimate may vary; however, for most orders everything is typically finished within 2-3 weeks, so expect to be without your trim for that long.
Our new order tracking system will provide periodic updates on the status of your trim and estimated completion date as well.
Install Your New Carbon Fiber Trim
Follow the trim removal steps in reverse, being sure to delicately handle each piece. oCarbon products feature the same fitment and finish as OEM; however, if you do not think a piece is fitting correctly please email us and let us know.
Once installed, we highly appreciate customer photos of the finished product. With your approval, we will add your pictures to our photo gallery and even feature your car and mod-list with your own URL and webpage (example: John's S4). We share your passion for fine cars and carbon fiber, and we encourage you to participate in our gallery with a page showcasing your car.
