Pricing or Typographical Errors

All prices listed are in US currency. While we do our best to keep pricing information accurate and up to date, keep in mind that prices and availability are subject to change without notice. In the event that an item is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to an error in pricing or product information, oCarbon shall have the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any orders placed for that item.

Ordering:

Stock:

Since all products sold by oCarbon are handmade in house, there is a chance that an item you wish to order might not be in stock. If this is the case, the item will be custom made for you and may take anywhere from 2 weeks to 3 months to complete. The time it takes to make an out of stock, custom item depends on numerous factors including; total outstanding orders, cores instock, etc. oCarbon will strive to keep you up to date about the status of your order through our automated order status page and we invite you to contact us at any time for further information about the status of your order.

Cores:

Cores are required for every product we sell that has a core option on the product page. What this means is that an OEM (original equipment manufacturer) part(s) are wrapped in carbon fiber to ensure a perfect fit, just like the original factory part. Cores are accepted one of two ways: 1) The core part is shipped to us first. We inspect the core and make sure all nothing is broken and ship out the carbon fiber part(s). 2) You provide a refundable deposit (the deposit amount will vary depending on the core and is listed on the product page) when you order. We ship out the carbon fiber part(s) (if they are in stock), you swap the carbon fiber part(s) and ship back your core to us. Once we receive the core, we check it out, and if it meets our criteria, the deposit is refunded to you We usually have plenty of cores available, but from time to time we may require that you send your core to us to have an item made. This is usually the case with less common makes and models. Sometimes there is a chance that we can acquire a core for you from one of our suppliers at an extra cost to you. Please contact us if you have any questions about cores or to inquire about which cores we have in stock.


Shipping:

oCarbon ships exclusively with FedEx. Ground is the only method available at this time, due to the size of the boxes we use to ship items. Items will not be shipped until payment has been made in full and, if applicable, a core or deposit received. oCarbon reserves the right to change the method of shipping depending on product(s) ordered and the destination of the package(s). International duties, taxes, tariffs, and brokerage fees are the responsibility of the recipient. We are also not responsible for such fees/taxes on returned items. If you are concerned about the possibility of additional charges, please contact your local Import/Customs authority for more information. Free shipping offers are valid only for our US customers located in the Continental United States.

Damages:

In the event that you receive an item that is damaged, please notify oCarbon within 5 business days. Do not discard any of the box, packing material, or broken items. In most cases you will receive replacement items, however before we can replace damaged items, we require that you file a claim with FedEx. More information about filing a claim can be found here: http://www.fedex.com/us/customersupport/express/faq/claims.html You will need to supply them with information from your shipping label. Once you have a damage claim number, email oCarbon and we will do our best to get replacement parts to you. Damage claims MUST be made within 5 business days of the receipt of the shipment or oCarbon will no longer be responsible for replacing damaged parts.

Improper fit:

In the unlikely event that you should receive a part that doesn't fit correctly, please contact oCarbon within 5 business days of receiving your order. Take pictures of the part and do your best to describe how the part is not the correct fit. oCarbon will send a replacement part to you if a replacement part is readily available or ask that you return the defective part to be remade.

Returns/Exchanges:

Should you wish to return or exchange a product, please contact oCarbon within 5 business days of receiving order. We will not accept returns on any items without prior authorization or after 5 business days. Returned items that are not damaged or incorrect are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Shipping costs are nonrefundable. If a core was provided, a similar type of core will be returned to you when it becomes available. Items that are custom made (items not listed in the product catolog) are nonreturnable. Once authorization for the return is given, pack up items using an insured, major carrier and mail it to:

Be sure to put your Return Authorization number on the package. Failure to do so could result in delay of your refund and/or core.

Core deposit:

Customers who decide to keep their trim during the manufacturing process and make a deposit may take up to 30 days to install their new oCarbon trim and send in their original core. After 30 days, the deposit is non-refundable and we will no longer accept the core return.
For damaged core part(s) the cost of replacement for the part(s) will be deducted from the initial deposit (for example, if two tabs are broken on a piece then the cost of replacement tabs will be deducted). Damaged pieces will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us if you are unsure about a damaged piece prior to deposit.

Appearance:

All oCarbon carbon fiber products are hand-crafted, and no two items will be identical. Sometimes small imperfections such as slight waves in the weave, small bubbles, and clear coat blemishes are inevitable. However, if any of your parts have major imperfections such as clear coat bubbles larger than 3mm diameter, cracks, or chips on arrival then you may be eligible to exchange your damaged part(s).

Warranty:

oCarbon only sells quality products that we are proud to stand behind. Our products come with a 1 year limited warranty for materials and workmanship. This includes fading, discoloring, and bubbling. This does not include breakage due to mishandling/improper installation or normal wear and tear like scratching. Treat your carbon fiber parts like the paint on the outside of your car and it will last for years. In the event that you need to make a warranty claim, you must provide us with a copy of your invoice as proof of purchase. oCarbon will only replace or repair warranty items, no refunds will be made. oCarbon must inspect or test all products prior to executing a warranty claim. Simply returning the product to oCarbon, does not guarantee execution of a warranty claim. Please contact oCarbon should you have any further questions about warranty claims.

EXCEPT FOR WARRANTIES SPECIFICALLY STATED IN THIS SECTION, oCarbon HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, NON-INFRINGEMENT AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY. Regardless of the form of any claim or action, oCarbonís total liability to Buyer for all occurrences combined, for claims, costs, damages or liability based on any cause whatsoever and arising from or in connection with the Products, shall not exceed the purchase price (without interest) paid by the Buyer. IN NO EVENT SHALL SELLER BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF MOTOR VEHICLE USE, LOSS OF PROFITS OR LOSS OF USE OF THE PRODUCTS OR DOCUMENTATION OR ANY EQUIPMENT, OR FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, MULTIPLE OR OTHER DAMAGES, ARISING FROM OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE PRODUCTS EVEN IF SELLER HAS BEEN MADE AWARE OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL SELLER BE LIABLE TO ANYONE FOR ANY CLAIMS, COSTS, DAMAGES OR LIABILITIES CAUSED BY: IMPROPER OR DEFECTIVE USE OR OPERATION OF THE PRODUCTS OR IN WHICH ANY PARTY HAS SUBSTITUTED MATERIALS NOT SPECIFIED BY SELLER.
